He explained that these letters are not simply an introduction to Revelation, but a central part of the book, each following a similar pattern: a description of Jesus, a commendation, a rebuke when necessary, and a promise to those who remain faithful.

The message explored the churches of Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, and Thyatira. While each church faced unique circumstances, a common theme emerged: the danger of compromising with the surrounding culture. Ephesus was praised for its commitment to sound doctrine but rebuked for abandoning its first love. Smyrna remained faithful despite persecution and received only encouragement from Christ. Pergamum was warned for tolerating false teaching and immorality, while Thyatira was confronted for allowing a false prophetess to lead believers astray.

Throughout the sermon, Pastor Lucas challenged the congregation to consider where cultural assimilation can subtly replace biblical faithfulness. Drawing connections between the struggles of the early church and modern-day challenges, he encouraged believers to remain rooted in God's truth rather than conforming to the values of the world.

The message concluded with a personal challenge: If the Holy Spirit wrote a letter to Nfluence Church today, what would it say? More importantly, what would Jesus say about each of our own lives?
